Starting the day

Posted: 22 Mar 2010 03:58 AM PDT

Hi everyone, and welcome back. Week started as it ended past Friday, with majors opening around New York closing levels, in a quiet Asian session; dollar is slightly higher as risk aversion continues ruling markets, yet the fact that the US Congress approved the health care bill, that may worsen the fiscal situation in the coming years, limited greenback rally, at least for now; stocks are down in Europe, Wall Street futures are also losing ground, while gold approaches to $ 1104/oz.

In a couple of hours, both Trichet from ECB and King from BOE will be speaking to the media; later will be the turn of US Treasury secretary Geithner, and those are the main fundamentals for today. Here is the link for the calendar, while I prepare some technicals:

Have a great day!
