Starting the day

Hi everyone and welcome back! As comment past Asian session in the weekly opening Live coverage, dollar and yen  were meant to extend their rallies past Asian session, with the latest stronger due to American economic woes.

Short corrective movements against greenback are taking place rigth now, thus at this point, they are hardly more than corrections after past week gains; and I don’t expect much more definitions today, as Mondays lately had been days to forget.

While yen holds it’s bullish tone across the board, Swiss Franc follows as the second stronger currency across the board. Still USD/CHF has just bounced back up from the base of the 300 pips range the pair has been moving since early July. Indeed, seems a bit too late to join the selling there, at least during this August. Euro and Pound remain under pressure, thus holding above daily lows: will be following those levels today, and how close we end the day to them.

Have a great day!
