Posted: 18 Aug 2010 04:53 AM PDT Hi everyone, and welcome back! Not posting much these days, as really, there seems to be not much more to add to the last updates; I do see summer effect weighting now stronger in the market: lack of volume and definitions, choppy movements in Europeans and ranges. I do still see strength in 3 currencies overall: Swiss Franc, Japanese Yen, and Canadian Dollar. On the other hand, as comment past Sunday in the weekly opening, greenback looks far more weak than past week; still not much definitions to follow. Seems we have to wait a couple of weeks to see them. Short term talking, EUR/USD remains capped under 1.2900, with no aims from the technical perspective, to run higher. Also, lose of the 1.2800 area seems unlikely, and I will be favoring the upside in the cross today. Anyway, will take a look at technicals to see what we can find today. Here is the link for today's calendar: http://www.fxstreet.com/fundamental/economic-calendar/ Have a great day! |
