Posted: 20 Aug 2010 04:35 AM PDT Hi everyone, and welcome back! Another risk aversion Friday, not much of a surprise, with dollar up across the board, but Euro suffering the worst part after losing 1.2730 area, previous base of the daily range. Commodity currencies are also suffering from stocks slumps, while seems pretty amazing Japanese Yen holding around 85.30; should not last that much if current environment persist during the US session, and a retest of 84.70/80 seems likely if not lower. Anyway, taking a look at charts, we can notice the low volume traded today, lack of liquidity is notable, and that only exacerbates movements, be aware more stops could be triggered around the board, and I suspect more in the Euro crosses rather than others. We have no fundamental data today, so would be a great day to trade pure technically; have a great trading day! |
