Posted: 11 Jan 2011 03:49 AM PST Hi everyone, and welcome to this blog. No much of an accion during past Asian session, except with Aussie, that fell to past December 16th low of worse than expected trade balance and worsening floods in Queensland. Euro and Pound hold into recents ranges, with a slightly bullish tone in current European session, as stocks and commodities continue heading north. Reading news here and there what we need to know right now is that the ECB is still buying pheriperal bonds, and that Portugal and Spain are the main focus of attention now. EUR/USD reached 1.2990 intraday high, yet quotes now below 1.2965 immediate resistance, unable to regain ground. Expect stops to be increasing below 1.2880 area. With no much first line fundamental news in the majors economy, market seems to be heading for a sentiment lead day. Anyway, here is the link for today’s calendar: http://www.fxstreet.com/fundamental/economic-calendar/ Have a great day! |
