Posted: 06 May 2010 03:16 AM PDT Hi everyone, and welcome back to this blog. The Parliament elections in the UK that should be the event of the day, have been dulled by euro zone woes. Despite I was thinking earlier this week that ECB rate decision will probably be a non event, till press conference when Trichet would be attacked with questions about the whole sovereign debt situation; I woke up and first to read are rumors about a surprise rate cut in euro zone, announced today, and it’s not a so crazy idea…I won’t be touching euro, until speech is over, that’s for sure. Market reaction to the event, if rates are cut, could be crazy, and I don’t want to be catch in the midle. Anyway, I will be covering Live! rates in Europe, so here is the link for today’s calendar: http://www.fxstreet.com/fundamental/economic-calendar/ Have a great day! |
